Skating with a pole is a lot like paddleboarding. You can get into a rhythm, maintaining the same stroke rate, though you’ll likely hit slower speeds.

We believe that skate poling will someday achieve status as its own competitive sport with a distance/sprint (race) category and a freestyle category.
